Many thanks for entering this year's 20 Minutes Handicap Tournament, a good entry of 22.
The fee for entering is £3 and everyone will be guaranteed at least two games. The format is single continuous game for 20 minutes, american scoring. The winner is the player who is ahead when 20 minutes is up.
The draw and details of the order of play are attached as an Excel file. If you are unable to view this, please reply to this email and I will let you know when you are playing on Monday 8th.
The busiest night will be on Tuesday 21st when we get the Plate competition up and running. There are a large number of byes in the main draw which can make the plate a bit tricky for the first round. Some people may have to play twice on Tuesday should they lose their main draw second round match - once in the main draw and once in the plate. If they win their main draw match then a bye will be applied to the plate. Potential opponents in the plate will unfortunately have to wait for the result of the main draw match on Tuesday to know if they have a match to play or will receive a bye. I will try to contact those concerned as early as possible on the night to let them know the outcome.
Please do arrive on time for your matches. It would also be helpful for all entrants to volunteer as markers and timekeepers.
If you have any questions please do let me know and I will endeavour to answer them as soon as possible.
